Digging Deeper - Introduction

Although you will find a segment of "lighter" material at the end, this section of Martureo.Org is intended to provide deeper information on a wide variety of topics. Please take caution, however, since some of the content goes fairly deep and might be somewhat confusing.

We also need to caution the reader that knowledge of the information contained in this section is not a requirement for God's acceptance or one's salvation. God's plan of salvation is so simple that is can be understood by a 7-year-old!

Adults are famous for making simple things extremely complex! As such, many big theological terms have been developed in order to come to grip with some of the "finer points" — all of which are secondary to one's saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Produced and broadcast by Downtown Bible Class (www.downtownbible.org), Bible Teacher Scott Gilchrist covers Matthew 7:28-29 — "When Jesus had finished these words, the crowds were amazed at His teaching; for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as their scribes."
